Safety is Sexy

A book in progress.

Not because it isn't ready.
Because it’s still becoming.

Safety is Sexy began as an unexpected download from Spirit on Thanksgiving 2025. What I thought would become a single chapter quickly unfolded into something much larger: an exploration in new relational paradigms for nervous system regulation, intimacy, embodiment, trust, passion, and the kind of love that allows us to become more fully ourselves.

Timeline showing the development of Safety Is Sexy from its first inspiration in 2025 through writing, reflection and the ongoing manuscript journey

Why this book is different

This isn't a relationship manual.
It isn't a trauma textbook.
It isn't a memoir.

It's an exploration of what becomes possible when safety and passion stop being opposites. Of when a somatic channel remembers key knowledge needed to attune to New Earth’s frequency.

It asks questions about intimacy, nervous systems, spirituality, embodiment, vulnerability, and the extraordinary transformations that happen when we feel deeply seen.

Press, Media & Publishing Inquiries

Safety is Sexy is currently in development, and I’m seeking aligned publishing, media, and promotional opportunities to help bring this work into the world.

If you’re a literary agent, editor, publisher, journalist, podcast host, producer, or media professional interested in the book’s themes of somatic safety, embodied spirituality, intimacy, and the relationship between safety and passion, I’d love to connect.

I’m open to conversations about publishing, interviews, podcasts, features, collaborations, and other ways this message might reach the people who need it.

Hear the Book Come To Life

Many of the passages from Safety is Sexy have become part of an ongoing video series called Excerpts & Derps.

In these short voiceovers, I read passages from the book while sharing moments from my solo hikes and nature. Together, they've become a way of letting the book breathe before it's published.

If you'd like to experience the manuscript in my own voice, explore the series below.

Excerpts & Derps

Excerpts & Derps isn't marketing. It's documentation.

It's a living archive of the book's evolution. You might hear a passage now, then later read that same passage in the published book and realize, "I've been walking alongside this book for months." That's a rare experience for readers. You're not just buying a finished product. You're witnessing its becoming.

Where did these words come from?

Every excerpt begins as part of a larger conversation within the books pages.

These readings come from my evolving manuscript, Safety is Sexy, a book exploring nervous system safety, intimacy, embodiment, spirituality, and what becomes possible when we learn to trust ourselves first, and then one another.
